Meet You There

Reviews

Life is like a Call Centre – everyone on script. But when Robin meets Jaceb she tosses the guidebook, and descends into a whirl of unscripted sexual relationships in Vancouver’s club scene. The characters exhibit Very Bad Behaviour that is confused and destructive, but also funny and ultimately redemptive. As you follow their actions in this tightly-crafted novel by Jessica Wallace you can’t help but examine your own life scripts. An impressive debut.

By turns funny, sweet, raw and sad, Meet You There is a compelling portrait of a life in transition. Jessica Wallace's prose is strong and clear, and her crisply rendered characters vibrate with beautiful imperfection and dogged resilience.

A sometimes gritty, often humorous, look at our struggle to find peace in our relationships and comfort in ourselves. A brilliant cast of characters that I found myself wondering about long after I had finished the book. An amazing debut by an incredible talent!
