Happy New Year's Eve!
I was delighted to discover Meet You There on Shannon Fisher's Top 5 Reads of 2015 list. Whoop! I've only read one other book on her list (Octavia Butler's Kindred) so have some books to add to my GoodReads list. Check it out for some recommendations! Shannon has been a monthly contributor to the Pastry Box Project this year, and writes regularly on her on blog Truthfully.

Whoo hoo! Just two short days after Christmas, it was great to see so many people come out for the reading at Audreys Books!
Thanks to Tanya Johnstone for her opening reading from Letters to Nowhere, to Scot for his fantastic emcee work, and to the staff at Audreys for being such welcoming hosts. Happy holidays everyone :) Hey, hey!
We're giving away three copies of Meet You There on Goodreads! Enter (for free!) until December 31st. I was up at the ridiculous hour of 5am (which the CTV folks let me know was my own fault for moving to the west coast) for this Skype interview. It was pretty exciting and nerve-racking!
Check it out to see what 5:40am looks like! There was a great turnout to the Vancouver launch of Meet You There, despite the rain! The Railway Club was a lovely, cozy venue and they were great hosts.
I was pleased to have Shannon Fisher open with two essays from her blog Truthfully. You can find a recap of the event on the Content Strategy Inc site. Yay! My first book event is now under my belt. Very surreal to see my photo on a big sign at McNally Robinson.
It was a fantastic evening of reading, visiting, and snacking with family and friends. Thanks to all who came out! I was very honoured to be interviewed by Tanya Johnstone on her book review blog Hellphie's Fiendish Fiction.
Tanya's a fantastic (and prolific!) author herself and a long-time friend. Check it out! Join us for a cozy reading during the holidays!
